Our Story​

(Raquel’s POV)

Our journey began far from home, in the vibrant city of Bangkok. I moved to Bangkok from Davao in June 2022, and a few months later, Resty arrived from Bataan in October 2022. Resty initially joined the team at Anglo Singapore International School Campus 64, but in November 2022, he was transferred to Campus 31, where fate brought us together.

What began as a casual work friendship soon blossomed into something deeper. We often found ourselves spending more time together, commuting from work, exchanging stories, and realizing how much we truly had in common—especially in the values we share and the preferences we align on. Our connection wasn’t just built on the excitement of someone new; we took the time to reflect on our feelings, making sure we were both ready for the journey ahead.

On January 8th, as we celebrated our first year together, Resty proposed after a simple dinner. Of course, I said yes! With him, I found not only love but a place where I truly belong—a home.

Mark Resty Flores

Resty, 27, is the funny and witty half of the relationship, always bringing laughter and lightheartedness to any situation. Known for his sharp attention to detail, he’s a web developer who is the creative force behind this invitation website.

Raquel Lamanilao

Raquel, also 27, is the creative and meticulous partner who ensures everything is perfectly in place. As a math teacher, her grounded nature and passion for precision beautifully balance Resty’s playful and inventive spirit.

We kindly ask that you dress modestly for the church ceremony. Semi-formal attire in earth tones would be greatly appreciated to harmonize with our wedding theme.

Parking is available both at the church and the reception venue.
